HEARTY THANKS TO NCEF USA INC.


NCEF Chitwan is highly indebted to NCEF USA Inc. for the continuous support and cooperation. Over the last three years NCEF USA Inc. have been launching scholarship programme targeting the needy Nepalese children (Chitwan Area). In the beginning NCEF USA Inc. selected three children under the NCEF scholarship programme. The next year the numbers of beneficiaries rose to eight in number. This year the aid has been doubled and there are currently 16 direct beneficiaries whereas the total beneficiaries (including family members) are in between 70-80. This is really really a great contribution to needy Nepalese children from NCEF USA Inc.

I, Mr. Ram Prasad Sharma, would like to express thanks to all the team of NCEF USA Inc. for the positive support in favour of the children of Chitwan, Nepal. .My thanks are due to all of the well wishers and friends of NCEF USA Inc. without their CONTRIBUTION, this programme would not have been successful.

I, from my personal side and on behalf of those needy children of Chitwan, would like to convey this message of special thanks to Mr. Steven Lustig, Dr. Maheshwor Kafle, Mr. Abhishek Sharma, Ms. Sagar Marahatta and Mr. Hari Tripathi for the support and cooperation to support the educational growth of the needy children of Nepal.

NCEF Chitwan distributed Scholarship at Shri Chaturmukhi H S School, Shaktikhor, Chitwan, Nepal


R P Sharma, 17th October 2011:
The newly approved NCEF scholarship of five students studying at Shri Chaturmukhi H S school had been distributed yesterday i.e, 16 October 2011 amid a short formal programme. A total of 4 girls and 1 boy received stationeries and uniforms under the scholarship scheme. The programme was concluded under the coordination of Area Coordinator Mr. Ram Prasad Sharma amid a short programme.

NCEF President Steven K Lustig visits Chitwan, Nepal

Sept 10, 2011; Bharatpur; R P Sharma:
NCEF President Mr. Steven K Lustig made a formal visit to the NCEF programme sites in Chitwan district, Nepal on 9th September, 2011. Along with the President, the Secretary of NCEF, Miss. Sagar Marahatta was also present in the visit team.
Area Coordinator, Ram Prasad Sharma, welcomed the NCEF team at Jugedi, Chitwan. The President visited Shri Kavilash H S School, Kavilash and met with the recipients of NCEF Scholarship. During the school visit the President and the Secretary jointly interviewed the students (recipients of NCEF Scholarship) and the Head Master of the school. After visiting the school at Kavilash the team visited the newly approved site (Shri Chaturmukhi H S School, Shaktikhor, Chitwan) located at Shaktikhor, Chitwan the same day. The President was welcomed by the newly selected five students by offering bouquet of flowers. The President gave away gifts to the students in both of the sites. He also interviewed the newly selected students about their hobbies and study. He also observed one of the running classes.
In the afternoon, Area Coordinator, R P Sharma presented the annual report of NCEF Chitwan to the President at the Royal Century Hotel. In the end, the President expressed his feeling about the visit and encouraged the Area Coordinator to keep on working in favour of the needy Nepalese children. The Area Coordinator thanked the President and the Secretary for making such a visit and also requested to make visits in the days to come.

NCEF USA approved five more students for scholarship

NCEF Inc. USA has recently approved five more students for NCEF scholarship in Chitwan, Nepal. NCEF has been involved in Chitwan, Nepal since 2010. Area Coordinator, Ram P Sharma requested for further coverage of students in Chitwan. Upon receiving the applications for new students from Shaktikhor Village Development Committee of Chitwan district, four Chepang girls and one boy were selected by NCEF. The Chepangs are one of the most backward communities in Nepal. The selected students (Kisan Praja, Binita Puri, Sarala Praja, Renuka Praja and Dilumaya Praja) are currently studying in grade V and VI at Shri Chaturmukhi H S School, Shaktikhor, Chitwan, Nepal.

NCEF SCHOLARSHIP DISBURSEMENT IN CHITWAN, NEPAL


Bharatpur, October 4, 2010, R.P Sharma:
The disbursement program of the NCEF Scholarship for the newly selected students from Chitwan district, Nepal was held on October 4, 2010. The disbursement program was held in the initiation of the Area Coordinator (Ram Prasad Sharma) at Shri Kavilas Secondary School, Kavilas VDC, Chitwan district, Nepal. Since the Area Coordinator is associated with Bal Kalyan Samaj-Chitwan, president and secretary of the same organization were also present in the program. Similarly a few teachers, Head Master (D B Chhetri), Assistant HM and the selected students were present in the program. Area Coordinator gave a short introduction about the education policy of NCEF USA to the attendants of the program. Besides this the President (Badri Raman Sharma) of Bal Kalyan Samaj-Chitwan spoke to encourage the students to do better in study.
The selected students received the following educational materials under NCEF Scholarship.
Uniform- Shirt/Pants/Skirt/Sweater
Slipper, Dictionary, Atlas, Copies, Pen, Inkpot and School bag
Mr. D B Chhetri expressed special thanks to NCEF USA for the selection of three students from Shri Kavilas Secondary School, Chitwan under NCEF Scholarship. The selected students also expressed thanks to NCEF USA. They assured the Area Coordinator that they will do notable progress in study. After the program was over the students were taken to the nearby tailor shop to get their uniform stitched.
